This one day Conference is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with two leading and internationally renowned education consultants who are also outstanding practitioners. Both focus on improving children’s writing in structured, engaging, active and interactive ways that are different, yet complementary.
Pie and Patrice are also prolific educational authors and consultants with a wealth of ideas, experience and practice to share with participants. They have been working together termly at conferences, for the last 5 years.
Participants will attend sessions with Pie and with Patrice and will opt into either KS1 or KS2 workshops. There is also a whole group opening and plenary session.
Target audience: English Subject Leaders, KS1 and KS2 Teachers, Teaching Assistants and other interested professionals who work with schools.

Pie Corbett is well known for his inspiring training days. Author of over 250 books, storyteller and poet, Pie led the ‘Talk for Writing’ initiative for the National Primary Strategy. He was a Primary Headteacher, English/Ofsted inspector and Senior Lecturer. http://www.piecorbett.org.uk
Patrice Baldwin was President of the International Drama Theatre and Education Association (IDEA) and Chair of National Drama. She has been a School Improvement Partner and Ofsted inspector and is an arts education,curriculum and school improvement consultant. She is also an author.
