• consider professional and personal issues
• present a tiered model of behaviour management
• explore a classroom management toolbox
• consider barriers to learning
• understand troubled learners
• detail an intervention toolbox
Participants will gain and develop skills necessary for carrying out a behavioural project after the course, should they wish to do so. Post course project support is available if required.
£160 for 1 place, £300 for 2 places

DR. ROB LONG, D.Ed. Psych.
Rob Long is a Chartered Psychologist, working with young people and their families, mainly in the South West. Rob lectured in Psychology and Sociology before working as an Educational Psychologist for Wolverhampton and then Devon LA. He managed a Primary Behaviour Support Team and supported schools in reviewing behaviour management policies and practice.
Currently Rob is working with the NUT in providing professional development courses in effective classroom management and supporting learners with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Rob has written and had published several books offering support staff practical ways to manage difficult situations.
Rob is recognised as one of the leading speakers and trainers in his field in the UK
