Designing a quality Music Curriculum in tune with the new Ofsted framework.
This course will support you in planning and teaching music in your school and leave you confident about your music curriculum, its
• Intent: What we want it to achieve
• Implementation: How it will do that
• Impact: What difference it can make
You don’t have to be the best teacher in school, but, when facing music’s challenges and opportunities, it helps if you have a clear vision of what outstanding music should look like for your teaching and for children involved in whole school music activities. We will focus the afternoon on teaching and learning in music and learning through music, by making some music together, and experiencing skills, knowledge and musical progression throughout KS1 & KS2.
Everyone is welcome
• New subject leaders
• New to teaching music
• Just want a refresh …
• Don’t feel confident…
• Bursting with ideas but they need connecting ….
